On the 3rd Saturday of each month, explore the diversity of Downtown Long Beach, where old and new development come together to create a vibrant urban neighborhood. Learn about the growth of one of California’s largest cities and discover buildings from every decade of the 20th-century that contribute to its unique character. The tour includes historic landmarks such as the WPA-era Recreation Mural, The Breakers, The Willmore, Farmers & Merchant Bank, First National Bank Security Bank Building, and more!

  • Schedule: 3rd Saturday of every month
  • When: 9:30 am
  • Where: Meet in front of the WPA Mural at the north end of the Promenade. 205 East 3rd Street, Long Beach, CA 90802
  • Parking: 2 hours free parking at 3rd & Promenade parking structure
  • Length: 2 to 2 1/2 hours
  • Distance covered: About 1-1/2 miles total walking
  • Walking difficulty: Moderate
  • Cost: $10 donation per adult

 

 

 

All tickets will be held at will-call at the start of the tour
In the event of significant rain, the tour will be canceled and you may arrange to attend a later tour
